Validation of European Patents in Malta
The current requirements for the Validation of European Patents in Malta are the following:
» The signed Power of Attorney (POA);
» A copy of the European Patent Registration Certificate;
» A certified English or Maltese translation of the patent in case the European Patent is not in English or Maltese;
Official fees for the validation of European Patents in Malta have not yet been issued by the IP Office.
The submission of a validation request may be subject to further charges that may be implemented in due course. All applicants will be kept informed of any additional requirements, including charges, that may implemented in the future.
